Whether you’re visiting for the first or the twentieth time, there are always many new things to do. However, as you’re probably not going to stay there for years (unless you’re planning to live there), we have made a list of to help you narrow down your to-do list and manage to do all the best things.
1. See the Statue of Liberty
Wherever you’re from, you’ve surely heard about the Statue of Liberty. It is probably one of the most famous statues in the entire U.S., if not the most famous one. This is one of the things you shouldn’t skip doing. Enjoy the experience of climbing up to her crown and being at the lookout area – you will have an amazing view from up there and you’ll feel as if you were at the top of the world.
The statue itself is more than just an attraction – it was designed by Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi as France’s gift to the U.S. for the nation’s centennial in 1876. Even if you don’t care about the history, you will be amazed with the size and the looks of the statue. Don’t forget to take pictures!
